Listen, being the cool aunt of the family is pretty awesome. And coming home for the holidays is when being the cool aunt reaches its peak. As soon as we step through the door, it's like we are the stars of the show. All of our nieces and nephews gather around us, excited to hear about what we've been up to since the last time we visited. 

It is almost like our family is obsessed with the idea of our mysterious adventures. They'll ask us a million questions, wanting to know every little detail about the places we've seen and the things we've done. When you think about it, it's pretty amusing to see them so fascinated with our lives. Almost like an ego boost if you ask me. 

But hey, being the cool aunt is not just about the mystery. It's about being there for them, making memories, and being a source of joy and inspiration. Whether it's playing games, sharing snacks from abroad, or simply listening to them when they are ranting about their parents (our siblings), the holidays become extra special when we are around.
